Our Curriculum Overview
A Commitment to Excellence
Each Course of Study requires 120 Credit Hours for completion at a total cost of $4200.00 ($35.00 per Credit Hour). Tuition fees go to paying and hiring new teachers, electronic costs, updating our free online library and titles for our publishing house, developing new courses, scholarships for postulants and support for E&R affiliated church plants and missions.
B.A. in Christian Ministry
Our Bachelor of Arts in Ministry is designed to prepare individuals for vocational Christian ministry in the classical Protestant tradition. The focus of the degree is to provide a general education in the Bible, systematic theology, Church history, liturgy, and pastoral studies. Before graduating from this program students must also complete 80 hours of hands on ministry experience in a ministry setting under the guidance of a Ministry Mentor and write a 40+ page thesis outlining and defending their own Philosophy of Christian Ministry.
B.A. in Christian Education
Our Bachelor of Arts in Christian Education is designed to prepare students to become top notch Christian Educators in Christian schools, churches, or other religious institutions. Students will establish a foundation in Biblical Literacy, Christian Ethics, Religious History, Instructional Theory, and Social Awareness through reading, learning, exploring, and writing about Christian Education theory. Students must also write a 40+ page thesis outlining and defending their own Philosophy of Christian Education.
M.A. in Christian Ministry
Our Master of Arts in Ministry is designed to prepare individuals for full-time pastoral Christian ministry in the classical Protestant tradition. The focus of the degree is to provide an in depth understanding of the Bible, systematic and historical theology, liturgy, and pastoral studies. Before graduating from this program students will be required to compose and submit a 40+ page thesis outlining and defending their final Philosophy of Christian Ministry.
Certificate in Diaconate Studies
The Certificate in Diaconate Studies is freely awarded to those who accomplish this course of study which includes establishing mercy ministries and charitable giving; foundational Biblical and theological studies (soteriology, ecclesiology, Lord’s prayer, sacraments, commandments, creeds); serving the people of God in the diocese along with its Priests and Bishop; diaconal rubrics for assisting the Priest in proper Divine Worship; the responsibilities, glories and tasks of being a Deacon; and finally why Deacons should be honoured and respected for their service to Christ and His Church.
Certificate in Pastoral Studies
The Certificate in Pastoral Studies is freely awarded to those who accomplish this course of study which includes pastoral studies and parish training; how to stay devoted to prayer and the Word of God; the gift, calling and ministry of preaching and teaching and the pastoral vocation; a RuleBook on maintaining apostolic succession, preaching, teaching and practice; how to govern a local parish; the proper administration of the Word and Sacraments according to Christ’s institution; an excursus on the Eight Divisions of Theology; becoming a good shepherd like our Lord Jesus; Protestant Creeds and Confessions; discourse on Church governance; Prayer Book memorization and liturgical studies; and a primer on Church history.
